In orchestra my class and I are learning how to play
"Roundelay In D." We are working on the tempo and
recognizing the notes. So, far we are doing pretty okay,
but our orchestra needs to be in more symphony. Our class can play Jingle Bells,
Hot Cross-buns and scales. We are playing our pieces pretty decent for beginners!

In the second quarter of orchestra ,we had a concert. We played the songs Deck the Halls and Roundelay in D. We started a new song called Dance Scenario for beginning orchestra. It consists of many fast notes. Even though the piece is a little difficult, it is still very fun to play. Our class has really improved since first quarter.
Third quarter, we barely finished Dance Scenario in orchestra class. Dance Scenario is a classical song that starts out as a major, but ends with a sort of minor tone. Ms. Ohm gives us songs with different tempos and interesting notes. Our harmonizing is getting better everyday. We also got a few new songs called :Go From My Window- Variations, Greensleeves, and Nobodyes Gigge. Our class is playing Go From My Window- Variations first. So far, the songs are proving a challenge for our beginning class, but it is very fun!
After our fabulous orchestra concert, our once-out-of-tune beginner orchestra class began to improve drastically in the fourth quarter. The songs we played in the concert were called : Dance Scenario, Canyon Sunset, and Accents . We are currently learning lots of new songs including some that are in advance level. The title for the songs are: Canon in D, Telemann Sinfonia, and Short Cuts (which is a piece combined of the songs: Don't Stop Believing, Wipe Out , Over the Rainbow, and Scooby Do, Where Are You? ).The music that we play are unique and each of them has a different style to it. Our teacher is preparing us for advance orchestra, and she gives us challenges in our pieces to benefit our instrumental skills. One of our requirements for advancing toward advance strings would be to play and memorize the G, D, and C major scale. Even though it might seem difficult to some students in class (including me), I think our eccentric class could handle it!
